New Worlds - World Book Day (March 3rd)
A strong rhythmic pulse and a haunting melody has meant that this has been a real hit with all the groups learning it. Two local primary school children (Evie, 8, and Rufus, 5) helped with some ideas for the lyrics. It can either be sung unaccompanied or with a light piano or guitar support. Scored for upper voices (unison) and piano with guitar chords. Piano backing track available.

Hallel Halleluya - Holy Week / Easter
This is a longer song than some of the others, with multiple verses which can be sung either as solos or by a series of small groups. If considered too long, the chorus doesn’t have to be sung at the end of each verse. The chorus is based on a fragment of an ancient Jewish melody (a ‘hallel’), which was often sung at Pesach / Passover or other festivals. The lyrics tell the story of the Passion as a conversation during the Last Supper with a final verse full of hope for the future. Scored for upper voices (though easily sung an octave lower), optional harmony and piano; backing track(s) available separately.

There With Me - School Leavers Assembly
A song which tries to reflect the mixed emotions of this very important moment of a child’s life. The words help to articulate what the children might be feeling and perhaps not able to express readily. Scored for upper voices (optional harmony) and piano. Backing track available.
